Frank Zamboni invented and manufactured the ice-smoothing machine familiar to hockey fans.

Jack Snow played football at Notre Dame and set many records, then played for the LA Rams from 1965-75. After playing, he went into real estate, then returned to the Rams as a position coach, then a broadcaster of their games.

Dolores Janney Rivera Saavedra, better known as Jenni Rivera, was a Mexican-American Latin Grammy winner singer-songwriter, actress, TV producer, and entrepreneur known for her work within the banda and norteña music genres. Married 3 times and having 5 children, in 2010, Rivera was named spokeswoman for the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence.

Frank Coghlan was a silent-movie child actor, who later played young Billy Batson/Capt Marvel in the landmark 1941 serial "Adventures of Captain Marvel." A naval aviator during WWII, Coghlan continued as the Navy's Hollywood-based liaison for motion pictures, television and radio. After retiring as a lieutenant commander in 1965, he resumed his acting career, mainly in commercials. He also worked in public relations for the LA Zoo and the Port of Los Angeles.
