Norman Alden started as a disc jockey in Fort Worth. He won the Arthur Godfrey Talent Show and started a Hollywood career, acting on TV's The Adventures of Rin Tin Tin, Not for Hire, The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp, The Lawless Years, Hennesey, Rango, My Three Sons, Mod Squad, Gunsmoke, and The Streets of San Francisco, as well as doing voice-work on hundreds of projects including Aquaman on The All-New Super Friends Hour, and of Kay in The Sword in the Stone (1963). He had a notable role in the film I Never Promised You a Rose Garden.
