Alexander Tremulis was an industrial designer with Cord, Duesenberg, General Motors, Tucker and Ford. After Pearl Harbor was bombed in 1941, Tremulis joined the Army Air Corps and worked on advanced aircraft concepts including a gliding re-entry space vehicle, which in the 1960s became known as the Boeing Dyna-Soar. He had no formal training in art or engineering.

Eric Turner played NFL football, as a safety, for the Browns, Ravens and Raiders. He was the 2nd overall pick in the 1991 NFL Draft, and his $6 million contract, which included a $3.15 million signing bonus, made the first-year compensation a (then) record for a rookie. He died of intestinal cancer at the age of 31, two weeks after claiming he was not gravely ill.

Knox Manning was a radio announcer, then began in motion pictures in 1939 as an off-screen narrator. His distinctive voice and phrasing were noticed by other studios, and he quickly became one of the busiest voice artists. He appeared in a few films and played himself in 1946s comedy Mr. Hex, starring The Bowery Boys.
Gifford Frank
Francis Newton Gifford had a 12-year playing career as a halfback and flanker for the New York Giants, them was a play-by-play announcer and commentator for 27 years on ABC's Monday Night Football. Gifford won the NFL Most Valuable Player Award in 1956, the same season his team won the NFL Championship. He lost 18 months in the prime of his career when he was injured by a hard tackle from Chuck Bednarik on a passing play, suffering a severe head injury that led him to retire in 1961. However, Gifford returned to the Giants in 1962, changing positions from running back to flanker. He he played in five league championship games, was named to eight Pro Bowls, and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1977. appeared as Ensign Cy Mount in the 1959 World War II submarine film drama Up Periscope. He was married to TV host Kathie Lee Gifford from 1986 until his death.
