Donald Siegel was a film director and producer. Films include Invasion of the Body Snatchers, five Clint Eastwood movies including Dirty Harry and Escape from Alcatraz, and John Wayne's final picture, The Shootist. He has a cameo role as a bartender in Play Misty For Me, as a "pod" taxi driver in the remake of Invasion of the Body Snatchers, and as a ping-pong player in Charley Varrick.
