Dutch Leonard was a left-handed pitcher in Major League Baseball who had an 11-year career from 1913 to 1921, and 1924 to 1925. Due to a salary dispute, he played for Fresno in the San Joaquin Valley League in 1922-23. He holds the major league modern-era record for the lowest single-season ERA of 0.96 in 1914. After baseball, he became a successful fruit farmer and wine maker.
