Mark Bingham was a public relations executive for his company, the Bingham Group. During the September 11, 2001 attacks, he was a passenger on United Flight 93. Mark is believed to be one of the passengers, with Todd Beamer, Tom Burnett and Jeremy Glick, who overtook the plane from the hijackers. It eventually crashed into a field near Shanksville PA.

Thomas Kinkade was an artist who created a large body of popular and best-selling works that often depicted idyllic pastoral themes. He published 1982's The Artist's Guide to Sketching, and produced the background scenes for the 1983 film Fire and Ice.

Frank Dorsa was an inventor and businessman who started a food processing company with his brothers in 1932. Frank developed a potato peeler to speed up production at the potato chip plant, and later a machine to process frozen waffles. The family Eggo company was sold to Kellogg in 1966.
